Our fleet and bus services can get you where you need to go.
Reserve a Vehicle
Employees, departments, and registered student organizations (RSOs) can rent vehicles for official university business. Options include:
- Sedan
- Van (7 and 12 passenger)
- Pickup Truck
- Mini Bus (15 passenger)
- Box Truck
- ADA Van
Driver Certification and Training
Required: All drivers of 12 passenger vans, mini buses, and ADA vans
Certification Period: Every 4 years
An additional, one-time orientation is required for mini bus and ADA van drivers
How to Complete:
- Take the Driver Certification Course
- Save your certificate of completion
- Email your certificate to FleetandBuses@IllinoisState.edu
- Complete in-person orientation (ADA van and mini bus drivers only) – email FleetandBuses@IllinoisState.edu to schedule

Where it goes: Around campus
Availability: Fall and spring semesters when classes are in session

Where it goes: Parade, tailgate lots, and football game

Bloomington-Normal offers a variety of transportation options to get to campus or head out of town.
Peoria Charter Coach
Offers daily transportation to various locations in Illinois. Board at Watterson Towers or Uptown Station.
Amtrak
Provides train service to Chicago, St. Louis, and stops along the way. Board at Uptown Station.
Jefferson Lines
Offers transit service to various cities in Illinois. Board at Uptown Station.
Flixbus
Covers routes across the continental United States.
