Motorist Assistance Program

The Motorist Assistance Program (MAP) helps students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University who experience motor vehicle problems while parked on campus. This service is free of charge and includes:

  • Jump starts
  • Unlocking your vehicles if your keys are locked in
  • Providing a container and/or transportation for gasoline if you run out
  • Assisting you if you have a flat tire - (This service is limited to providing air for a flat tire only)

For assistance, please call the Office of Parking & Transportation (309) 438-8391 office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or contact the ISU Police Department (309) 438-8631 after 5:00 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday. Only lockouts are available after 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on the weekends.
